From constrained possibility to stable structure.
Constraint-to-Collapse is a candidate foundational framework exploring how restrictions on possibility can shape state geometry, effective dynamics and persistent records.
The programme asks a simple but deep question: what changes when physical or informational structure is approached from the constraints that make alternatives distinguishable and stable?
Current public source lineage: C2C Constraint-to-Collapse Research Monograph v3 · 13 August 2026.
RESEARCH QUESTIONS
What the programme is actually asking.
- 01
How should a constrained possibility space be represented?
- 02
When do constraints induce useful geometry?
- 03
How do effective dynamics emerge on that constrained structure?
- 04
What makes records persistent?
- 05
How should observer access be represented?
- 06
Which apparent laws can arise from constrained state structure?
- 07
Which require additional physical assumptions?
CLAIM REGISTER
Not every historical idea remains equally valid.
C2C deliberately distinguishes derived results, candidate principles, open conjectures and retired routes. The current framework does not treat every earlier idea in the programme as equally valid.
DERIVED
Follows from stated assumptions.
CANDIDATE PRINCIPLE
Proposed organising principle, not established fact.
OPEN
Unresolved problem or conjecture.
RETIRED
A route that no longer survives scrutiny.
FALSIFIABILITY
A foundational framework must be able to lose.
C2C research is structured so candidate mechanisms can fail through formal contradiction, countermodel, numerical failure, lack of empirical discrimination, or dependence on unsupported assumptions.
C2C has not already passed all empirical tests.
COMPUTATIONAL BENCHMARKING
Executable tests examine the construction.
Where a claim can be translated into executable structure, computational tests can expose inconsistency, degeneracy, instability, counterexamples or unexpected equivalence.
Executable validation is evidence about the formal construction. It is not automatically experimental evidence about nature.
BOUNDARIES
What C2C does not currently establish.
- a complete Theory of Everything
- the Born rule from first principles
- all of quantum mechanics
- a theory of consciousness
- Interdimensional Physics as physical fact
Those may intersect with research questions. They are not automatically solved by the framework.
RELATION TO OTHER PROGRAMMES
Tools may travel. Proof does not.
C2C may provide foundational concepts or mathematical tools that later programmes can draw upon.
- ZEIF is not automatically proven by C2C.
- IDP is not automatically proven by C2C.
- UniQ AI does not require C2C to be physically correct.
Research dependencies must be explicit.
